Description
I think it is very important to involve local people in conservation projects. This is the case with the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, a community rhino conservation project that I had the opportunity to visit on a photography trip to Botswana. The 8,585-hectare sanctuary is home to both white and black rhinos, as well as other mammals and birds. We spent the only day there, and I took this photo of four white rhinos walking in clouds of dust to a waterhole. May future generations have the opportunity to see scenes like this with their own eyes.
