Description

Eye-catching green feathers and an unmistakable voice are the main characteristics of one of the bird inhabitants of Australia’s forests. This individual came to like the trees around our accommodation and regularly not only let us know about his presence by distinct screams but also provided us with opportunities to take photos. The bottom levels of the forest are typically shrouded in shadow, but at the same time, contrasty beams flash here and there through the canopy, or a clear sky shines through. I deliberately used these spots to create a more interesting background than the uniform green forest wall is.
