Description
In Kenya’s Samburu National Park, I was lucky enough to see the local leopards on several occasions. My most memorable encounter was with a female we came across in the middle of the park. She gracefully climbed down from the rock where she was resting and proudly, aware of her strength, walked to the river where she found a tree for her next rest. It was the first time I had the opportunity to observe this big cat in the wild and the sight of her eyes is still vivid in my memory.
