Description
Young male musk oxen leave their natal herds and form bachelor groups, where they grow to full strength and prepare to take over their own herds in the future. In Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park I had the opportunity to photograph a pair of such young animals, which spent most of their time alone, but still within sight of each other.
