Description
Svalbard is one of my favorite places. I came here for the first time to try to photograph arctic foxes, but I was not lucky. It took a few more visits before I was able to get as close as I wanted to be. Temperatures dropping to minus thirty degrees Celsius helped – in such cold, the animals are less active and conserve energy and body heat. Thanks to this, the foxes were much more tolerant of my presence, which, combined with their innate curiosity, allowed me to take some close-up portraits.
